Today marks the launch of my very first stream community!
To celebrate being a live streamer on Twitch for one whole year, I decided to embark on a venture I had been contemplating for a long time. Starting my own team! I had pushed the idea to the back of my mind to wait until I was partnered, but one day I just told myself that there was no reason I could not grow a community of streamers before then. I did not need an official Twitch team page to build a strong content creator community, there are more than enough tools out there to start right away!
So here she is, Team Mini! A community welcoming streamers of all shapes and sizes to join, grow and support one another to reach our goals. There are no requirements and there is no application process, all you need to be is a streamer. Whether you've just made your Twitch account, or you have been at it for years, all are welcome to be part of the team.
I opened a team Twitter page in order to spread the word about our streamers with retweets and mentions. I also created a team Discord for members to make friends, get advice, tips, share their streams or just hang out.
I am really proud to launch this and I really hope you feel welcome to get involved to help each other thrive on Twitch.
